Depression (What Does the Bible Really Say About?)

Depression can range from feeling very sad (This is how I feel!) to an intense feeling of despair (This is how I am!). It is estimated that nearly 80,000 children and young people suffer from severe depression. There has also been a marked increase in the number of students who are seeking help for depression. This booklet seeks to help us identify and understand depression, and make sense of a disease that has a debilitating effect upon a young person during the crucial stages of life, when facing the pressures of our own expectations and the expectations of others.
