“In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The LORD Our Righteousness.”—Jeremiah 23:6
New from Soli Deo Gloria Publications!
How can a sinner be accepted as righteous by a holy God? In The Lord Our Righteousness, Puritan Obadiah Grew expounds the classic Protestant doctrine of justification. Grew emphasizes the glorious basis for our justification: Christ’s righteousness credited to all believers. With pastoral wisdom, Grew helps us understand and apply the doctrine of justification by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
Endorsement
“In clearly presenting the biblical doctrine of justification by faith alone, Obadiah Grew did well; by directing believers to use and apply that doctrine in their lives, he did still better. Yet this short volume offers even more, for it points to the best thing of all, a cordial to carry about in wearisome times: Christ, the Lord our righteousness.”
