In a world where family structures are under constant pressure, the need for godly guidance has never been greater. That’s what led to the launch of ‘Your Family Matters’ column in 2005. Written for the weekly Sunday Mail, a government-run national newspaper in Zambia, the column quickly became a go-to resource for biblical wisdom on marriage, parenting, gender roles, and many other family-related topics. Writing under the pen name ‘Pastor Chanda,’ Pastor Conrad Mbewe sought to speak to everyday people in a down-to-earth, relatable tone yet always grounded in the timeless truths of Scripture. Over the years, these columns have addressed both age-old questions and modern dilemmas, offering clarity where there is confusion and hope where there is hurt. This column is by far the longest-running newspaper column in the history of our country. These articles are shared weekly on the Marriage Enrichment Fellowship Facebook page, which has more than 30,000 subscribers. Our goal is to publish all the articles for the last 20 years, 1 year per volume. What you have in your hands are the articles that were published in 2022. Enjoy reading them!
